So, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been a major time commitment. Sky Factory 3 also has taken up quite a bit of time.
Needless to say, I’ve been distracted with other things and haven’t worked on the realm for quite a while. Hoo-boy, it’s been rough getting back on this horse too. Talk about it being hard to get inspiration! I spent a lot of time pulling my hair out on this one… =(
It took forever for me to finally get my head back in the game. It reminded me of the story A Long Walk to Water. It was a great read, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing some light reading. It tells the story of Salva Dut (more info here). Salva’s uncle gives him some words of wisdom to help him overcome the many adversities he faced during his travels…some advice that I desperately needed to remember: Take it a day at a time. (Yes, my “struggles” are nothing as to what Salva went through, but the advice still works!)
I began work on the palace today. I ended up moving it to the east slightly and had to do quite a bit of terraforming before I was ready to lay out the outlines of the buildings. Take a look at what I’ve got set up! Now, this is obvious, but everything is set to change due to whatever whim strikes me.
